Andrew began his career in financial services at Security Pacific (now part of Bank of America) in Los Angeles as an analyst for the oil & gas group. He was recruited by Den Danske as an Account Officer covering major corporate clients on the west coast. He joined Crédit Agricole in San Francisco as a Relationship Manager and later transferred to Chicago where he focused on large corporate clients and the oil & gas sector. He joined ABN AMRO in Chicago as part of the automotive group, ‘up-tiering’ several major clients and working on several large M&A transactions. He has experience in analysing and structuring transactions in a wide variety of investment banking products and has expertise in Acquisition Finance, Valuation, Project Finance and arranging liquidity facilities. He has been training finance professionals since 1995 and is a co-founder of oxyor.

- Simon Meijlink

Simon has been an active hedge fund trader for the last 12 years. Initially he ran the ABN AMRO global convertible proprietary trading book after which he started his own hedge fund that mainly runs long/short strategies and derivative arbitrage positions. Next to currently managing the hedge fund, Simon is a founding partner of oxyor that delivers global training and consulting in all areas of investment banking. Furthermore, he is active in venture capital helping and financing new companies in their start up phase.

- Pieter Ris

Pieter Ris joined ABN AMRO in 1992 as a graduate to join the bank’s International Division as one of its International Officers. Pieter worked on different assignments in Latin America and Dubai before moving back to Head Office in Amsterdam to join the European Structured Finance team (Syndicated Lending). After several years in Amsterdam he continued his international career as he was transferred to Hong Kong where he was responsible for the International Client Portfolio of the bank. He left ABN AMRO in 2006 to join oxyor as Commercial Director.

- Ibrahim Matta
Background: Technical University of Delft, Netherlands (MSc Engineering)
Ibrahim began his career at ABN AMRO as a risk analyst. He determined the functional specifications of different market and credit risk management systems. He drafted numerous market risk policies and was involved in the approval process for derivatives pricing models. Ibrahim then joined Citigroup to become a relationship manager for Dutch pension funds where he was responsible for selling asset management and alternative investment products. In 2002 left Citigroup for MeesPierson alternative investments department as an analyst and portfolio manager. He was member of the financial committee and the investment committee of MeesPierson.
He lectured on derivatives risk management at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and regularly gives lectures on financial risk management at the Technical University of Delft. Ibrahim joined oxyor at the end of 2005 as a senior trainer.

- Angelique Bakker

Angelique started working as a trainee for ABN AMRO Bank in 1987. Her first posting was Account Manager for large Dutch Corporates. In 1992 she moved to the Global Relationship Management department at the ABN AMRO head office, where she was responsible for coordinating the bank’s relationships with large Japanese and South-Korean Corporates. In 1995 Angelique became Credit Risk Analyst at head office, one year later she was appointed head of one of the two Credit Analyst teams for large Dutch credits. In 2000 Angelique accepted an offer to work as a head-hunter for a Recruitment firm that specialized in banking positions. During this time she also worked as teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam. In 2005 she joined oxyor.

- Göran Persson
Background: University of Lund, Sweden (BSc in Business Administration)
Göran Persson joined ABN AMRO Stockholm in 1990 where he worked as a Relationship Manager for large Swedish Corporates. He moved to Amsterdam in 1995 to coordinate ABN AMRO's business with large Nordic multinationals. In 1999 he joined the European Investment Bank and was responsible for the financing of more than three billion worth of projects in infrastructure and health care sectors. He joined the ABN AMRO academy in 2002 and has been training and advising in the areas of Financial Analysis, Risk Management and Transaction Structuring. Göran is Co-founder of oxyor that delivers global training and consulting in all areas of investment banking. - Ben Kalkman

After a compulsory stint as a military lawyer (16 months) Ben joined ABN AMRO (then ABN) in 1984 as a graduate to join the ranks of the bank’s International Division. Postings to several countries in Latin America (BHU branches), Sweden and the UK followed. Back at Head Office in 1996 he was in charge of Structured Finance Latin America, before moving to Global Clients. Based in Amsterdam, Ben was a Regional Manager and responsible for the global relationship with some of the top Consumer clients of the bank. He left the bank in 2002 to pursue other interests (executive search and business consultancy), but has now returned to the financial world as Managing Director and Partner at oxyor. True to his Food Retail background Ben is also a non-executive director for ICA of Sweden in its joint ventures with Ahold.

- Bettina Allerding
Background: Luneburg College, Germany (BA in Banking)
Bettina started her banking career in Private Banking with the Volksbank Nordheide, after which she changed to Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt. She moved on in the banking world into the world of Institutional Equity Sales at the Vereins- und Westbank Hamburg and in 1999 Bettina went to ABN AMRO and moved to Holland. Bettina joined ABN AMRO’s European Equity Sales Desk in Amsterdam as a Vice President to develop and maintain the relationships with Dutch institutional clients, specifically to build a –closer- relation with ABN AMRO Asset Management. As Senior Sales Officer Bettina was Account Manager for some of the most important clients in the Netherlands (AAAM, ABP, Philips and Unilever). She left the bank in 2003 to pursue other interests (Real Estate Management, Germany), but has now returned to the financial world as Managing Director and Partner at oxyor.
