1. Who is eligible?
The traders trophy is open only to full time students of the participating universities. Students graduating in 2009 will be given preference in case of more enrollments than seats available.

2. How do I sign up?
Go to the registration section of this website and click on the link. You will receive confirmation of your registration once it has been submitted. Registration for each traders trophy will start 6 weeks before the 1st qualification round.

3. Is there any fee involved with signing up?
There is no fee involved at all for the participants.

4. When does registration end?
The deadline for registration is for each traders trophy a couple of days before 1st qualification round. For exact dates have a look at the specific sites for each location. As there the seats are limited we recommend to subscribe as early as you can.

Only individual students can enrol.

6. What happens more students sign up for the traders trophy than seats available?
in case of an oversubscription, preference will be given to students in their final year.

7. How will the performance be evaluated?
Each paticipant's performance is evaluated on four main categories:Profitibility, Market awaerness, Market making (Client service) and Risk management. A sophisticated analysis tool is used for the evaluation.

8. Who will qualify for the Final?
The top performers of the qualifying rounds will be invited for the final. Each university will have an equal number of students in the final. The number of students per university qualifying for the final will depend on the number of universities participating (e.g. number of qulaifying rounds).

9. Can I be reimburst for travel expenses?
Only for patricipants who are required to fly to the location of the final, travel will be arranged and be paid for.

10. What can I win?
Each traders trophy will have prizes for the best performances which will include cash prizes. It is possible that the sponsors will offer internships or even employments to the best performers.

11. Are resumes required?
No. You are not required to submit a resume or CV.

12. What happens to my results?
At the end of each round, the participant will be able to see their results. If you are invited to the final round, your results and contact details will be made available to main the sponsors.

13. I can't find my university in the list?
In case your university is not listed it means their currently your university is not participating. The possibility of including your university in an existing competition can be investigated.

14. How can I bring this event to my county?
If you are interested in co-organising this event in your country you can contact us. At least three to five universities are required to run this event in a new country.

17. Do I need to bring anything?
No, the competition is played with laptops that are provided by the organisation. You can bring a pen and notepad, but this is not really necessary.
